Terrell Reber has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Detroit Mercy, and is a level three Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) consultant.  Raised in a traditional rural community, he has been an active firearms enthusiast since the age 4 and has received tactical training in patrol officer and SWAT team pistol methods during his employment with the Pulaski County Sheriff's office in Arkansas.  He also has an extensive background in ballistics from his father - one of the top black powder ballistics experts in the country - and from the Arkansas state police crime lab.  He has a great deal of training and teaching experience in all aspects of personal combat and assault and crime prevention and has been an active fencer / coach since the mid 1990's.   
 
Terrell is also a founding member and Director of Operations for the Great Lakes Self-Defense Association.
