If someone wants to hurt our children, they won't choose a time or a place with witnesses. That means no parents, no teachers, no police, just our children and the predator. The safety of our children will depend on their ability to recognize a threat and respond effectively. These fun, interactive workshops teach essential, lifesaving information about the dangers facing our children, strategies for prevention and real world techniques designed to keep them safe from abductions, assaults and other forms of violence. But most of all, these programs teach students that they have the right to be safe, that no one has the right to hurt them and that their safety is worth protecting. Participants learn to identify and avoid unsafe behavior and dangerous situations and to be prepared when danger can't be avoided... and while these topics are serious and the skills real, the programs are always age appropriate and a lot of fun.
